Dear Kerri and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your grandfather. He was a wonderful man, he was one of my favorites who would always bring us chocolate covered cherries to the bank. He always brought a smile to my face and offered such wonderful marital advice that always involved the Lord. May you all find peace and comfort in the many lives he touched in such an ordinary day to day way. He always found kind words when I was struggling when my mom was first sick. My love to all of you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. ( Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. ( Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.
