My heart is saddened at the loss of a wonderful person. Even though life has changed many circumstances, Phil always treated me as a member of the family. We did not live close enough for personal visits, but he always made a point to give a shout out on FB. One of his favorite phrases, "what's up baby girl" will live in my heart forever. I will miss his virtual presence. RIP baby boy, RIP...your struggles are now over. I will love you always.

To the only father I have known,
You came into my life as a little girl maybe 9 or 10. Some of the best memories are with you bringing me lunch to school or letting me drive the 9 8 right into the fence behind our apt...You always looked out and made sure I was good no matter what lol...I will always love you for what you did for me and Bridget...you will always be our Dad!!! Love you always and forever!! B

Phil, was more like a Lil brother than a friend to us. We all grew up together, broke bread,& bumped heads. The Welch's is part of our family come what may we were always there for each other. Attended Church & School and raised up in the same nieborhood on the NORTH SIDE. Our parents were like parents to the North Side any way and loved each child growing up with us, no respect of person. Daddy loved everybody the same and will take time out to correct you when you were out of line. Phil is gone but not forgotten, his love will always live on in our heart's💟 THAT'S WHAT GOD WANTED US TO DO..... LOVE EACH OTHER AS HE LOVE US........ THANK YOU LORD FOR LENDING HIM TO US AS LONG AS YOU DID.......FOREVER GRATEFUL DEEDEE BROOKS BALLARD. LET US SHOW OUR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER WHILE WE ARE ON THIS SIDE.....TOMORROW MAY BE TO LATE💋...... FAMILY BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT.......HE'S ABLE

I'm missing my Cousin Phil who brought so much laughter to my life, rather talking to him on the phone or spending time with him at Our Family Reunions! I always looked forward to spending those times together at the reunion because I already knew how much joy, fun & laughter you brought with you to share with everyone! You are greatly missed and Loved more than you know. God knows he will be smiling more with you!
Love You Always,
Your Cousin Cheryl

To the family and friends of Phillip Welch, I would like to express my deepest condolences to you for the loss of your beloved Phillip. It is my hope for you, at this time of great sorrow, that you find comfort in the God of all comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Also take heart in the fact that our God wants no one to die. In fact he considers death to be an enemy that He will destroy soon. (1 Corinthians 15:26). Very soon death and the pain it cause will be done away with forever. Even Phillip can benefit because Jesus said he will raise all those he wants. Please read John 5:21. It is my hope that these words will make your hearts lighter and your hope brighter.
