WARREN – William H. Freeman, age 80, entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 3, 2021 at St. Joseph Health Center. He was born February 2, 1940 in Cleveland, the son of Howard and Alice (Lawrence) Freeman, and lived most of his life in the Warren area.
A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, William worked for Copperweld Steel before moving to Packard Electric, where he worked thirty-one years before retiring. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed fishing and watching the Indians on television.
Precious memories of William live on with his three sons: Brian, Stephen (Leslie), and Michael Freeman, all of Warren; two daughters, Phyllis and Rosanne Freeman, both of Warren; twenty grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold Freeman of San Antonio, Tex.; and a host of nieces, nephews and their families who thought the world of him.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Howard and Alice Freeman; his beloved wife of nearly fifty-six years, Sandra (Rucker) Freeman, who passed August 8, 2016; one sister, Juanita Cooper; and two brothers, John and Wyman Freeman.
Services will be conducted at a later date. Cremation is taking place.
