Virginia R. Hrinsin

WARREN – Virginia (Ginny) R. Hrinsin, age 92, lifelong Trumbull County resident, passed away peacefully Friday, January 8, 2021 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.  She was born October 3, 1928 in Southington, the daughter of John and Flora (Mihocas) Russ.

Virginia was a 1946 graduate of Chalker High School.  She married her loving, devoted husband of fifty years, Walter G. Hrinsin, on March 28, 1947. Virginia was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Warren.  She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. She volunteered extensively throughout her life in the local schools, church and community.

Precious memories of Virginia live on with her children; Walter M. Hrinsin (Karen) of Blairsville, GA., Suzanne H. Barr (Ronald) of Scottsdale, AZ. and John M. Hrinsin (Elizabeth) of Avon Lake, OH; one sister, Florence Peterson (Nelson) of Warren; one brother, Thomas Russ of Cortland; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, her sisters; Flora Russ, Victoria Trotogott, Pauline Truffin, Mary Ireland, Anne Horan, Betty Heddleston and Helen Russ; and her brothers; Kosti, John, Tennis and George Russ.

Her urn will be laid to rest in the columbarium at First Presbyterian Church. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
