Thomas A. Stowe

NILES – Thomas A. Stowe, age 76, area resident, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 3, 2020.  He was born June 15, 1944 in Warren, the son of Arthur and Mary (Frell) Stowe.

Tom graduated from Warren G. Harding High School and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.  For over thirty-five years, he was the owner of Stowe’s Design in Landscaping.  He enjoyed drag-race competitions in his baby blue Mustang convertible, skiing, riding his Harley-Davidson, and the Sunday ritual of washing cars with his buddies, but most of all, the special time he spent being with his children and granddaughter.

Precious memories of Tom live on with his beloved wife of forty years, Sherry L. (Panak) Stowe, whom he married January 18, 1979.  They raised two daughters, Robin Stowe-McKay of Austintown and Kimberly Stowe of Asheville, N.C.  Tom was a grandfather and an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, all whom he loved dearly.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his brother, Arthur “Butch” Stowe; and toddler son Thomas “Tommy” Stowe.

A memorial service for Tom will be set at a later date.
