Stephen Anthony Albanese, 74, of Howland, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at home. Steve was born September 29, 1943 in North Jackson, Ohio, son of the late Alvena and Anthony Albanese.
He worked at Packard Electric for 27 years. Steve was in the U.S. Army from 1961-64. He enjoyed life, had many interests: golf, racketball, reading mystery novels, doing crossword puzzles, and was an avid Browns and Indians fan. Most of all, Steve enjoyed vacations with his wife, Judie, whom he married on June 27, 1974. They were happily married 44 years. Together, they enjoyed dinners and movie nights with close friends and family. After his illness, he enjoyed computer and visits, especially when great-nieces and nephews Dominic, Izabella, Vincent Greenwood, and Olivia Morgan, spent the night.
Steve was a member of the Roman Catholic Church and looked forward to Communion services at home.
He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife, Judie; son Jeffrey; three sisters and three brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service was held at Steve’s home.
