Obituary
Warren – Shirley Harcarik, 85, passed away April 30, 2023, after one day in Hospice House in Youngstown, Ohio. She was born on October 15, 1937, in Warren, Ohio, to the late Walter and Fayma Lanchaster Jones.
Shirley was a 1955 graduate of Warren G. Harding. She was a member of St. Cyril and Methodius Church for 66 years.
She was a loving housewife and mother. Shirley would do anything for anyone and was always there when you needed her. She enjoyed camping, fishing, Bingo, crocheting and planning family gatherings.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 67 years, Theodore Harcarik Sr. whom she married on March 12, 1956, who devoted the last six and a half years taking care of her; sons, George Harcarik (Sherry), Gerald Harcarik; daughters, Susan Strineka (Peter), Rebecca Kaszowski (Stanley); daughter in law, Mary Harcarik; brothers, Floyd and William Jones; sister, Lenora Jones; 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Theodore Harcarik Jr., and two brothers, Thomas and Edward Jones.
A graveside service will take place at 12 noon on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at All Souls Cemetery 3823 Hoagland Blackstub Rd, Cortland, OH 44410.
