Sharyn "Susie" Cool Obituary

Sharyn A. “Susie” Cool entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Sharyn was born December 26, 1945 in Warren, the daughter of the late George E. Fuller and Helen L. (Dueber) Fuller.

Sharyn enjoyed cooking and baking, especially Christmas cookies, chocolates and cakes. She enjoyed her flowers, watching the birds and feeding the squirrels, and most importantly spending treasured time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sharyn was a 1963 graduate of Harding High School in Warren. She married her late husband, Thomas M. Cool in 1965. They shared 51 years together, having four children together, and greatly enjoying their five grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Sharyn was an active member of St. John Paul II Parish of Warren, and was a member of the former Christ of King Catholic Church in Warren. Sharyn was a long-time member of the Altar and Rosary Society at both churches, and was always an officer, either serving as president, vice-president, treasurer or secretary. Sharyn and her husband enjoyed serving as bingo workers for many years at Christ Our King. Sharyn organized many baked sales and other fundraisers for the church.

In her younger years Sharyn was a member of the Newton Falls Jaycee-ettes, serving as a president and in other capacities, and where she made many life-long friends. Sharyn started working at Packard Electric shortly after high school and worked at various other jobs through the years.

Left to cherish Sharyn’s memory is her sons Thomas J. Cool of Howland and Jeffrey (Sara) Cool of Columbus, daughters Deanna Cool of Akron and Chrissy Cool (Brian) of Warren, grandchildren Maria (Andrew), Hailey, Ethan, and Morgan, and great-granddaughters Natalia and Katrina, sisters Janet (Frank) Hewitt and Carol Bowlin, sisters-in-law Deanna Fuller and Mary Fuller, many nieces and nephews, and extended family members, and many special dear friends.

Sharyn was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, her parents, eldest granddaughter Amber Cool, brothers Ross Fuller and James Fuller, and brothers-in-law Gary Bowlin and Doug Cool, and sisters-in-law Bethel  Bell-Quinn and Karen Starcher.
