Sharon M. Morrow

NILES – Sharon M. Morrow, formerly of Youngstown, passed away peacefully Monday, October 30, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.  She was born June 2, 1960 in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph and Janice (Dungee-Wilson) Montgomery.

A 1979 graduate of Youngstown North High School, Sharon worked in accounts payable for Hills Department Store and as a beauty consultant at Boscov’s.  She was a member of North-Mar Church, where she had served as a deaconess, and also volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital.  She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and loved to watch football, where her teams were the Browns, the Steelers, Alabama, and Ohio State.

She is sadly missed by her dear mother, Janice Montgomery of Niles; a daughter, Rickitta Seay of Cortland; a grandson, Carman Waggoner; a brother, Keith Montgomery (Michele) of Champion; sisters, Kimberly Montgomery of Howland and Candice Germany of Rochester Hills, Mich.

Preceding her in death are her husband of 18 years, James C. Morrow; her father, Joseph E.,Montgomery; and a son, Clemice Thomas, Jr.

According to her wishes, cremation is taking place.  Her good life will be celebrated with a service at North-Mar Church, 3855 East Market Street, Warren at a later date.
