Warren- Roy Donald Seibert, 88, entered into eternal life June 17th, 2021 in the comfort of Community Skilled Health Care Center, after a long battle with dementia. He was born June 4th, 1933, in Washington, PA, the son of Syd and Grace (Allen) Seibert.
Roy served in U.S. Navy between 1952-1956. He remained in the Valley and spent many decades as a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He spent over 30 years at Packard Electric- Shipping & Receiving, from which he retired.
He loved his family and always put his wife and children first. Roy could fix anything and hobbied as a woodworker. He made miniature, wooden replicas of a golf cart and boat, which he owned.
Roy is survived by his daughters Sharon Overly of Newton Falls, Carla (Rick) Gless of Warren, Anita (Ron) Scarnecchia of Jacksonville, FL, and Lynn Seibert of Jacksonville, FL.
He was a loving grandfather to six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was a cherished uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents, first wife Shirley (Horne) Seibert, second wife Dorothy (Chovan) Seibert, dearest grandson Christopher Ryan Gless, four brothers and one sister.
As per Roy’s wishes, there will funeral service and honor guard Monday June 21st, 2021 at 10:00am at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. Family and friends may call half-hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Niles Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Warren.
