Ronald Louis Winfrey

WARREN - Ronald Louis Winfrey, 72, departed this life, Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023 at Continuing Healthcare at the Ridge in Mineral Ridge following an extended illness. He was born September 24, 1951 in Memphis, TN., the son of Robert Wiggins and Oakarita Winfrey.

He was a graduate of Labrae High School.

Ronald worked as a laborer for Local 935 and retired from Brainard Strapping. He also mastered the skill of installing drywall. He was an aquarium enthusiast who also enjoyed sharing God’s word, hunting, fishing, painting, biking and gardening.

He is survived by daughter, Kimberly Winfrey of Warren; daughter, Kelly (David) Sewell of Lyndhurst; brother, Robert Winfrey of Warren; sister, Deborah Winfrey of Warren; grandchildren, Keyauna Elzy, Aris Bender and Kearin Bender; great-grand daughter, Kierra Elzy; adopted granddaughter, Brittney Owens and a host of family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ronald’s wish was to be cremated. A private celebration of life will be held.
