FOWLER – Roger C. Schick, age 68, lifelong area resident, passed away suddenly Monday, September 28, 2020. He was born November 24, 1951 in Warren, the son of Charles and Katherine (Ben) Schick.
A graduate of Howland High School, Roger served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He worked thirty-six years as a fitter for Warren Fabricating. A member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Cortland, he had been a big NASCAR fan and most of all, enjoyed his grandchildren and following their sports.
Precious memories of Roger live on with his beloved wife of forty-three years, Terri (Goodhart) Schick, whom he married September 17, 1977; two children, Nathan (Shannon) Schick of Cortland and Cortney Cook (Nicholas) of Macedonia; five grandchildren: Raegan Schick, Colben Schick, Chase Cook, and twins Cameron and Declan Cook; one sister, Donna Marquette (Floyd) of Newton Falls; and one brother, Denny Schick (Linda) of Howland.
His parents, Charles and Katherine Schick, precede him in death.
Services are 11:30 am Friday, October 2, 2020 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dugan Cemetery in Fowler. Friends may call 9:30 to 11:30 am Friday at the funeral home. Masks are required, and social distancing will be observed.
