Rob was born Thursday, June 23, 1966 in Warren the son of Don Parkhurst and Charlotte Crew Finney and was a lifelong area resident.

Rob graduated in 1984 from Lakeview High School and TCTC with a degree in Graphic Printing.

He started his career in printing as a pressman at Nestle’s Print Graphics in Solon, Ohio.  He was promoted to plant supervisor in 1986 and remained in management until he retired from the printing industry in 2012.

Rob was truly the jack-of-all-trades.  He was a certified Home Inspector and a licensed health and life insurance agent.  He was an accomplished carpenter and was often called upon from family, friends and people in the community to work on various home improvement projects.

From 2019 and up to the time of his passing, he and his son Robert Jr. jointly owned Powerhouse Mowing and Landscape.

A true outdoorsman, Rob loved hunting, fishing and camping.  He also loved collecting guns and target shooting.  A skill and hobby passed on to him from his dad, Don Parkhurst.
