Lordstown- Robert Jay Heinsohn 68- Passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at his home with his loving wife at his side. He was born on April 17, 1954 to John and Marion Heinsohn in Belle Rive, IL He grew up at his family’s Walnut Grove Farm in Kirkland , IL He graduated from Hiawatha High School. He married Linda Santfant (Kompas) on June 30 1986. From a young age, he enjoyed driving. He was a truck driver for almost 50 years. He was especially proud when he bought his own tractor and was featured on the cover of Landline Magazine. Bob enjoyed working outside, watching wrestling and old westerns. He also enjoyed attending truck shows and his stories. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife; Linda, his stepdaughter; Tiffany Mann, his step, grandsons; Nicholas, Christopher and Matthew Mann, his brothers; Steve Heinsohn “Pat” Heinsohn and Gene Heinsohn “Kathy” of Dekalb, IL., his nephews; Jeffrey, Gilman, Johnathan, Ben, Scott and Jessie. He was preceded in death by his parents. A caring cremation has taken place.
