Richard W. Lenhart, 65, of Warren, passed away at 5:33 a.m. Sunday, September 6, 2020 in the emergency room of Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren after becoming ill at home.
Richard was born Friday, December 10, 1954 in Warren the son of Wayne H. and Dorothy Lois Goffin Lenhart and they survive him, in Champion.
He was a lifelong area resident and a 1973 graduate of LaBrae High School in Leavittsburg. For 10 years, Richard was a cook at Bob Evan’s. He previously worked as a truck driver and was also a laborer at several area machine shops and mills.
Richard enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and cards, and shooting pool.
He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Lois of Champion; his son Anthony (Margaret) Lenhart of Niles; brother Ross (Gayle) Lenhart of Champion; sister Dorothy Lenhart of Warren; his grandchildren Sophie Mayle, Anthony Randall Lenhart and Grayce Elizabeth Lenhart; and by his nephews and their families Brian (Susan) Lenhart of Champion and Scott (Chelsea) Lenhart of Eatonville, Washington.
Family will receive friends on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. in the funeral home.
An Order of Christian Burial with Cremation Service will take place on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home with Fr. Michael D. Balash, Pastor of St. William Parish in Champion as celebrant.
Inurnment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Warren.
