HOWLAND - Phyllis Lee Gospodarski was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother during her incredible 85 years of life. She passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Friday, January 19th, 2024.
She was born to Phillip and Harriet Moslow on July 18th, 1938. Phyllis was raised in Buffalo, New York and attended Sloan High School. While in attendance, she met her high school sweetheart who later became her beloved husband, Raymond Gospodarski. They were married on August 16th, 1958 and celebrated happily for 65 years.
Phyllis worked for the Association for International Practical Training where she started as a receptionist and worked her way to become a program manager in Columbia, Maryland. She retired from there after 17 years. Phyllis was very active with St. Roberts Catholic Church providing much support during different events including rummage sales, bereavement lunches as well as other church functions. She was also a member of the Old Timers Club at St. Roberts Church.
Phyllis and her husband Raymond enjoyed traveling and exploring the world together. From countless of cruises to exploring other countries, Phyllis enjoyed the Caribbean beaches the most. When the loving pair were not traveling, you can find them on the dance floor polkaing to their favorite bands.
