Norma Jean Lobaugh, 73, of Girard, entered into eternal rest Friday, April 19, 2019 at The Woodlands at Hampton Woods in Poland. She was born August 11, 1945 in Warren, the daughter of Dane and Evelyn R. Jean (Pearce) Lobaugh, and had lived in the area all her life.
A 1963 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, Norma had worked as an over-the-road truck driver, driving to the West Coast and Canada many times. She had also worked as a waitress and in home health care through Victoria House. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and playing computer games.
She is sadly missed by her daughter, Christine “Tina” Malizia (Sam) of Struthers; a grandson, Jason Malizia; and a sister, Nancy Kutz (William) of Wheaton, Ill.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her son, Jeffrey Campbell; and her brother, James D. Lobaugh.
Services are private. Cremation is taking place, and her urn will be laid to rest at Kerr Cemetery at a later date.
