Merrill Kay Hall, 85, of Howland, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Brookdale of Austintown. She was born May 3, 1933 in Newark, Ohio, the daughter of Merrill K. and Mary (Miller) Beaver, and had lived in Northeast Ohio all her adult life.
Merrill earned a master’s degree from Youngstown State University and worked as a psychiatric nurse for the Veteran’s Administration. She enjoyed travel and reading, but her greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Precious memories of Merrill live on with her five children: Brian A. (Joni) Hall of Dallas, Tex., Sharon A. (Bob) Hall of Braceville, David R. Hall of Sagamore Hills, Amy C. (Frank) Bufano of Warren, and Heather (Jim) Wagner of Howland; nineteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; two grandsons; and two sisters, Mary Jane Beaver and Barbara Myers.
Per her request, services are private. Cremation is taking place.
