Bristolville – Merle “Frankie” Milliron, 76, passed away at Gillette Nursing Home on Monday, April 24, 2023. He was born on April 18, 1947, in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to the late Forrest C. and Leatha (Vasbinder) Milliron.
Merle worked for WCI as a rod grinder until retiring in 2007. He enjoyed farming on his land, growing corn, pumpkins, cabbage and watermelon and sharing them with family and friends, going to flea markets and bring his sisters cakes and pies, watching others catching fish from the pond and watching Westerns on TV,
He is survived by his brothers, Lester E. Milliron of Punxsutawney, PA, Lawrence C. Milliron (Nancy) of Chesnee, SC; sisters, Lois Markert (Sam) of Ridgeway, PA, Janice E. Parkinson of Warren, OH, Paula J. Devlin of Cortland, OH, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by, his wife Wilma W. Wilson Milliron whom he married July 1, 1970; his brother, Forrest C. Milliron; and sisters, Gladys Gaston, Brenda Watson and Phyllis Morgan.
According to Merle’s wishes there will not be any calling hours or a service.
