Maxine Lavalliere Obituary

MINERAL RIDGE – Maxine L. Lavalliere, age 85, longtime resident of Vienna, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Continuing Health Care at the Ridge. She was born April 4, 1935 in Lee County, Va., the daughter of David Robert and Clara (Goddard) Choate, moving to Ohio in 1959.

A Baptist by faith, Maxine was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed crochet, reading, and most of all, being in the company of children.

Precious memories of Maxine with her son, Allen Lavalliere of Vienna; two daughters, Paula Lavalliere of Cortland and Sandra Cruz of Niles; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death are her parents, David and Clara Choate; her beloved husband, Richard P. Lavalliere, Sr.; two sons, Terry Lavalliere and Richard Lavalliere, Jr.; and one daughter, Sheila Jones.

Interment for Maxine was held privately at Crown Hill Burial Park, next to her husband.
