YOUNGSTOWN – A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the Conley & VanderBerg Funeral Home for Matthew Abrams Jr., 65, of Youngstown , who passed away February 13, 2019 at Greenbriar Health Care Center.

Mr. Abrams was born August 26, 1953 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Matthew Abrams Sr. and Lula Abrams.

Matthew "affectionately known as June" attended North and East High School and was an Army Veteran. He embraced a wonderful sense of humor and was a true "Backyard Mehanic". He could fix any vehicle; his favorite car to work on was a Mercedes Benz.

He leaves to cherish his memories his siblings, Michael Abrams, Diane (Thurhan) Henderson and Yvonne (Michael) Henyard; he also leaves his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends that will truly miss him.

Family and friends may visit Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Conley & VandenBerg Funeral Home, 75 E Midlothian Blvd., Youngstown, Ohio 44507.

The family would like to thank Greenbriar Healthcare Center, Vibra Hospital of Mahoning Valley, Mercy Health Hospital, Danddridge Burgundi Manor and Compass Family & Community Services for all their care during his illness.
