While in Bradenton through the winter months, she enjoyed the sunny beaches of Sarasota, golfing, and dinners with friends. In her later years at Independent Living of Shepherd of the Valley, ML found pleasure in watching and feeding the birds, observing the deer on the property, and watching her favorite shows in the evening, including Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and Cash Explosion, and visits and meals from her very dearest friend, Anna.  She was so proud of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
