Mary T. Black, 59, of Warren, entered peacefully into eternal life on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 8:45 p.m. at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown following a period of declining health.
Mary was born on January 23, 1962 in Sharon, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late William Frank and Frances L. Swartz Frank Jessup Sliver.
She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed raising all of her children to the best of her ability. Mary loved being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and especially enjoyed spending time with all of her family.
Mary was married to Brad Black on March 8, 1996 and he survives along with her nine children, Brian Joseph Yager, Angel Yager both of Warren, Jonathan Yager, of Campbell, Marcus Yager of Warren, Roger, Steven, and Dustin Boggs all of Warren, Heather Kirkpatrick of Steubenville and Joshua Bressler of Austintown; by eighteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her eight siblings, Lawrence A. Frank of Picayune, Miss, Donna Limbeck of South Bend, ID, William Frank, of Warren, Tina (Andrew) Petsakos of Warren, Lynda Rodriguez of Miami, Fl, Rose (Steven) Carter of Lawrenceville, GA, and Julie (Rusty) Brown of Riverdale, GA.
Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister Susan Frank.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:50 a.m. in St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in the church with Fr. Frantisek Katrinak officiating. Burial will follow next to her parents in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Mary’s name to either St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church, 232 Seneca St. NE, Warren, Ohio 44481 or to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Mary & St. Joseph Church.
