Margaret Cline Obituary

FOWLER TOWNSHIP – Margaret “Margie” Klein Cline, age 68, left this world Tuesday, October 6, 2020, to be united with her Lord and Savior.  Margie passed away at her residence in Fowler.

Margie was born December 30, 1951 at Northside Hospital in Youngstown to Sidney and Mary Jane Klein and grew up in Alliance, Ohio. She graduated from Alliance High School in June, 1969, and received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Bob Jones University in South Carolina in 1973.  Margie’s first teaching assignment was in Allen Park, Michigan for two years.  In 1975, she took a teaching position at Howland Christian School that lasted nine years.  Margie wanted to do something different from teaching, so she entered Packard Electric with Glow Smith Industries as a contract employee for ten years.  And then, after one year as a secretary at North Mar Church, she went back into education. Margie was hired on staff in the Lakeview School system, teaching the children she loved from Kindergarten to sixth grade for sixteen years.  With determination, Margie completed and received her Master’s Degree from Marygrove College.  Even after retirement, for the past five years, Margie would substitute in the Mathews and Lakeview schools.

On April 21, 1990, Margie married Jeffrey Cline at Youngstown Baptist Church with Pastor Jamie Gillespie and Pastor Fred Bennett presiding, bringing Jeff and Margie together as one.  They have enjoyed thirty years of loving each other, putting God first in their relationship. Margie’s appreciation for God’s creation led her to traveling with Jeff on many cruises and a few bus trips, along with two mission trips to the Dominican Republic.  Margie is a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Warren and was part of the Ladies Bible Study at Calvary Bible Church in Cortland.

She will be greatly missed by her husband; Jeffrey Cline; her mother, Mary Jane Klein; her sister, Jackie Simpson and her husband Ralph of Fairfield, Ohio; her nieces and nephew: Amy, Lori, Steve, and their children; and her precious dachshund/terrier Piccolo.

Preceding her in death are her father, Sidney Klein; and one sister, Barbara.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 11, 2020 at 3:00 pm to celebrate her homecoming at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, with Pastor Fred Bennett and Pastor Joel Carney. The family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.  Masks are required, and social distancing practices will be observed.
