Malinda J. Hartle

Malinda J. Hartle, 49, of Johnston Township, passed away peacefully of natural causes Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Sharon Regional Medical Center, Sharon, Pa.  She was born July 24, 1970 in Warren, the daughter of James L., Sr. and Betty F. (Thompson) Hartle, and lived most of her life in Johnston.

A graduate of Maplewood High School, Malinda was a devoted homemaker, and had worked the carousels at carnivals. She enjoyed darts, board games, and most of all, any and all activities with her family.

She is sadly missed by her mother of Warren; ten children: Tiffany D. Hartle (Ahmed Mohamed) of Sharon, Mass., Jolene L. Hartle of Warren, Cynthia M. Hartle of East Palestine, Stephany L Steinmuller of Warren, Mary F. Steinmuller of Newton Falls, Johnathan A. Moorhead of Cortland, Mitchell S. Moorhead, serving in the U.S. Army, of North Carolina, Ashley R. Moorhead of Warren, Jacob C. Moorhead of Fowler, and Jamie J. Moorhead of Fowler; twenty grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five sisters: Cheryl Morrow of Warren, Jessica Witter (Eric) of Sunset Beach, N.C., Annabelle Reighard of Sunset Beach, Crystal Hoostal of Sunset Beach, and Janell Hartle-Harvey (Michael Harvey) of Warren; two brothers, Harold Rice of Warren and Weldon Rice of Sunset Beach; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Robert Smith of Cleveland.

Preceding her in death are her father; one son, James L. Hartle III; one sister, Ashley Cook; and three brothers: Norman Lahti, James L. Hartle II, and Jarred L. Hartle.

Services are 11:00 am Monday, February 24, 2020 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Johnston Township Cemetery.  Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made to the family, to offset funeral expenses.
