WARREN — Louise Marvelle Williams Salter, 80, entered into her eternal home of rest Friday, May 6, 2022.
She was born Dec. 14, 1941, to the late Julius and Annie Williams.
Louise was educated in the Warren City Schools and graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1959.
She has been a member of Second Baptist Church from childhood and was recently recognized for 50 years of membership in 2021. She has served on the usher board, was an active member of the Sunday school, an assistant church clerk and on the Second Season praise team.
She was an avid bowler, loved to travel, line dance and to watch Westerns.
She worked at the Snowflake Laundry with Grandma Sweet, as an attendant at Warren City Schools, cleaned offices at Van Huffel Corp. and retired after years at LTV and WCI steel mill.
Louise leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Lisha M., Lynette M., Pastor Leta M. (Bishop Kenneth W.) Paramore and Lamont M. (Anita) Salter; grandchildren, Shadiekquia, Aaron, Antonio, Kayla, Lamont II, LaTasha, Lamar Sr., Ashley, Brittne, Karrington, Kenneth II, Joy and Jonathan II; 18 great-grandchildren; and several surrogates.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jonnie L. Williams; and brother / cousin, Calvin D. Simmions Jr.
Calling hours will be from 9 to 11 a.m., with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Second Baptist Church, 1510 Main Ave. SW, Warren, Ohio 44483
Committal will take place at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Oakwood Cemetery.
