Lisa R (Barnard) Habraken

Lisa R. Habraken, 51, of Bristolville, entered peacefully into eternal life on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 11:12 a.m. in her home under the comforting care of hospice following a two year courageous battle with Glioblastoma.

She was born Sunday, September 21, 1969 in Warren the daughter of Robert W. Barnard and Linda L. Law Barnard and was a lifelong area resident.

A 1987 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School, Lisa was certified in medical coding.

Lisa was employed with Trumbull Memorial Hospital and Hillside Hospital as a medical coder.  She was a member of AAPC and AHIMA. 

Lisa was a former member of Maranatha Church in Cortland and enjoyed boating and camping.  Most of all, Lisa enjoyed the time she spent with her family and especially her grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Michael T. Habraken, whom she married on July 14, 1989; her children Sara N. (Cole) McCandless of New Castle and Justin T. Habraken of Kent and her two grandchildren Kinsley and Colby McCandless.  Lisa is also survived by her father Robert W. (Debbie) Barnard of Bristol; her mother Linda L. Law Barnard of Warren; her grandmother Ruth Barnard of Warren and by six sisters Dawn (Paul) Kurelko of Hermitage, Bobette (Brian) Fagan of Champion, Traci (Brian) Demsey of Cortland, Lori Goetz of Cortland, Holly (Bob) Ward of Warren and Jamie Sanchez of Cortland; her mother-in-law Carole Habraken, her father-in-law Richard Habraken; brother-in-law Scott Habraken and by her pet feline companion “Rona”.Lisa was preceded in death by her grandmother Ruth Nash.

A private memorial service will be held for her family and a celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
