Kathy June Gay-Wolfe, 77 of Mecca, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 3:17 PM in Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

She was born August 7, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of the late Raymond H. and Alberta Elizabeth Smith Brown.

Kathy was an active member of Green Church of the Nazarean. She enjoyed rescuing great danes, flower gardening and bird watching.

Fond memories of Kathy will live on with her husband of 23 years Allen M. Wolfe whom she married August 9, 1997; a daughter-in-law Veronica Lynn “Ronnie” Johnson of Orwell; step daughter Dee Dee J. (John) Nunez of Valparaiso; five grandchildren Raymond Charles, Anthony David and Chlsey Lynn Gay and Joshua Hominger and Brittany Felker and five great grandchildren Phillip Franklin and Ava Monroe Gay and Ariel Sophia Adams and Aven Griffin and Brayden LaBounty.

Besides her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her son Charles Robert “Bobby” Gay; her brother Raymond Brown and her best friend of 50 years Chrissy Eaton.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
