Kalen L. Watson

WARREN – Kalen L. Watson, Sr., age 36, passed away from an accident on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.  He was born February 17, 1984 in Monterey, Calif.  His fathers are Kevin Watson and Maurice Evans, and his mother is Michelle Franklin Watson.

Kalen lived most of his life in Northeast Ohio and graduated from Warren G. Harding High School.  He had worked for Millwood, Inc. and belonged to the K-9 Motorcycle Club.  Most of all, he enjoyed his time with his children.

Precious memories of Kalen live on with his fathers, Kevin Watson and Maurice Evans, both of Warren; his mother, Michelle Franklin Watson of Memphis, Tenn.; his fiancée and companion of over twenty years, Shanie Eggleston of Warren; three sons: Kalen Watson, Jr., Kashaun Watson, Kamaree Watson; four daughters: Ari’azjina “Ari” Hill-Watson, Kastasia Watson, Shamur’ryae “Muri” Hill-Watson, and Ke’asia Watson; one granddaughter, Kehnani Sky Watson; one sister, Shannon Franklin of Memphis; four brothers: Michael Franklin of Florida, James Moore (Anya) of Memphis, Kevin Hunter of Georgia, and Kurtis Brown of Memphis; one special cousin, Miracle Moffett of Memphis; and a host of other brothers, sisters, relatives, and friends who miss him dearly.

Preceding him in death are his mother/grandmother, Patricia Small; his grandfather, Leonard Franklin; and his sister, Kiesha Watson.

Calling hours for Kalen are 2:00 to 3:30 pm Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.  Masks are required, and social distancing practices will be observed.
