Juanita Coleman

Cortland - Juanita M Coleman, 85, of 833 Maple Street S.W. departed this life Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Cortland Health Care & Rehab Center following an extended illness.

Juanita was born September 5, 1937, in Greenwood, MS, the daughter of Mary Francis Bush and Ernest Moore, Sr., residing in the area since 1954.

She was employed with Packard Electric for 30 years as an assembly line worker before retiring in May 1999.

She is a member of the Baptist faith, and she was a member of Second Baptist Church House of Hope in Warren.  She enjoyed shopping, cooking, fishing, decorating, and loved to host family gatherings.  She was known for her delicious fried corn.

She leaves behind to mourn her children, Maurice Moore Sr., and Opheila (John) Harsch of Warren, Deborah C. Clark of Youngstown, Vonnie D. Coleman of Warren,  Brenda L. Coleman of Toledo, Jacqueline D. Coleman of Dayton, Mary D. Coleman of San Antonio, TX, Mary F. Coleman and Shenita P. Lawson of Warren and stepson Raymond (Obie) Tate of Ethelsville, AL; one sister, Helen Andrews of Warren, four brothers, Eddie Moore Sr., Albert Moore Sr. (Jacqueline), William E. Moore, Fred Moore of Warren. 16 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband David Coleman, two sister, Earnesteen M. Hurt, Luella White, and four brothers Sherman Moore Sr, Harry J. Moore Sr., Earnest Moore Jr., and Jack Moore Sr., and a grandson Malcom Harsh.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon, Friday, April 28th, 2023, at the Second Baptist Church 1510 Main Ave. SW, Warren Ohio, 44483.  Family and friends can call from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the church. Committal will follow the service at Pineview Memorial Park.
