Josephine Berry

Josephine Berry, 88, life-long resident of Warren entered peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.  Josephine was born November 27, 1932 in Warren, Ohio.

She loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed shopping, reading, music, football, and basketball.  She was a member of the East Side Church of Christ.

Josephine will be sadly missed by her son Sylvester Berry Jr. (Carla) of Akron, daughters Rita Fulton, Brenda Kelson, Dessel (James) Ziegler, Elaine Ford, Jackie Johnson, Janet Jones of Cleveland, Shirley Anderson, and Renee Berry of Cleveland; brother Frank Crenshaw Jr., Julia Mae Redd (Daisy); 31 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Crenshaw Sr. and Mary Jane Murray Crenshaw, husband, Sylvester Berry Sr, sons, Lawrence Berry and Scott Berry; brothers, Henry Crenshaw Sr. and Benjamin Crenshaw Sr.; sisters, Irene McKinnon, Elizabeth Freeman, Virginia Crenshaw and Essie Smith.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 12PM.at East Side Church of Christ 1750 Niles Rd. SE Warren, OH 44484. Friends may call one hour prior to the time of the service. Interment will follow at Pine Knoll Cemetery in Lordstown, OH.  Please practice social distancing and wear a mask. We will be receiving family and friends at 1120 Eastland Ave. Warren, OH home of daughter Rita Fulton.
