Jeffrey Alan Stankewich

Jeffrey A. Stankewich of Sarasota, Florida, passed away at 6:27 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the age of 63.

He was born Sunday, January 20, 1957 in Warren the son of Joseph A. and Norma J. Limpach Stankewich and was a 1975 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School.

Jeff attended Bowling Green State University.  He was a painter by trade and was a personal driver.  He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid reader.

Jeff was of the Catholic faith and baptized in St. James Catholic Church in Warren.

Jeff will be sadly missed by his parents, Joseph and Norma (Limpach) Stankewich of Warren, his sisters Joni Jenkins and Tracey (Richard) Vitali all of Warren; his nieces and nephews Jason (Lauren) Crawford of Cleveland, Addie Jenkins of Colorado, Jeffrey Jenkins of Florida, Tori Vitali of Florida and Joey Vitali of Warren; by his significant close friend of thirty years,  Melinda Patnoi of Sarasota and by numerous cousins and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Syl Limpach and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Stankewich.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. in the narthex of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish-St. James Catholic Church, 2532 Burton St. SE, Warren, OH 44484.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in the church with Fr. Christopher Cicero as celebrant.  Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Jeff’s name to the Heritage Fund of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 2532 Burton St. SE, Warren, OH 44484.
