James Illencik Obituary

NILES – James T. Illencik, age 70, lifelong area resident, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Warren Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born September 21, 1950 in Youngstown, the son of Thomas and Gloria (Van Meter) Illencik.

Jim graduated from Ursuline High School and worked over thirty years for Tri-County Distribution before retiring.  He belonged to the St. George Croatian Center in Youngstown and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Warren.  Always ready to lend a helping hand, he enjoyed camping and traveling, and was an avid Elvis and NASCAR fan.

He is sadly missed by his father, Thomas Illencik of Mineral Ridge; his loving wife and companion, Debbie (Haudenschilt) Illencik, whom he married June 21, 1999; two children, Michele Illencik and Daniel Illencik, both of Youngstown; one sister, Barbara Krawl (Robert) of Cleveland; and three brothers: Stephen (Pat) of California, Michael (Sandy) of Canfield, and Thomas Illencik of Liberty.

His mother, Gloria Illencik, precedes him in death.

Per his request, services are private.  Cremation is taking place.  Please do not send any flowers.  Material contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2860 East Market Street, Warren, Ohio 44483.
