James H. Craig, 49, of Burton, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 following complications from pneumonia.
He was born September 4, 1970 in Warren the son of the late Harold L. and Marjorie Logue Craig and was a lifelong area resident.
A 1989 graduate of Howland High School, Jim was currently working as a lineman for the Illuminating Company of Akron.
An avid outdoorsman, Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking long hikes with the canine companion Daisey.
Fond memories of Jim will forever be remembered by his companion and lifelong friend Jill Wagner and her daughters Anna and Jenna Wagner with whom he made his home in Burton; his sister Lori (Randy) Neiman of Boardman; brother David (Melissa) Craig of Bradenton, Florida; three nieces Leann (Bruce) Friedrich of Poland, Julie (Adam) Day of Greenford and Sydney Craig of Dunedin, Florida and by five great nieces and by a host of friends.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where social distancing will be observed, and the wearing of facial coverings is highly recommended.
Burial will take place privately in Pineview Memorial Park.
