YOUNGSTOWN – James E. Cochran, age 60, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 1, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Health Center. He was born October 1, 1959 in Lauderdale, Mississippi, the son of Willie V. and Anna Lee (McNeal) Cochran, and had lived in Ohio since the mid-1970s.
A graduate of South High School, James attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed playing guitar, listening to music, and taking walks.
Precious memories of James live on with his two brothers, Phillip Clayton and Billy Ray Cochran (Leona), both of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Dorothy McElroy and Sally Mae Cochran-Robinson, both of Akron; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who adored him and will miss him very much.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Willie V. and Anna Lee Cochran; one sister, Cora Ann Cochran-Straughter; and two brothers, Willie Earl Cochran and Eugene Cochran.
Friends may call 1:00 to 3:00 pm Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. Those who attend are asked to wear masks when entering the building. Social distancing practices will be observed.
