Heather S. Zink

YOUNGSTOWN – Heather Shari Zink passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at her home.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa., December 29, 1975, the daughter of Roy D. and Cathy S. (Giddings) Barnett.

She was a graduate of Hubbard High School class of 1994.

Heather loved animals, crafts, and art.  Her love of taking care of people led her to become a nurse.  She graduated from Choffin School of Practical Nursing. She was employed by several nursing homes and home care agencies in the area.

Memories of Heather will be carried on by her husband Jason Zink; her sons, Israel and Jackson; her father Roy (Cindy) Barnett; brother Adam (Amy) Barnett; nephews Benjamin and Nathan Barnett; and half-sister Lara (Rob) Kizer.  Also surviving are her grandparents James and Mattie Giddings, Sr., and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Preceding Heather in death was her mother Cathy (Giddings) Barnett and her grandparents Roy A. and Betty Jo Barnett.

Heather’s good life will be celebrated with a service at 12:00 noon Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Liberty Assembly of God, 6779 Belmont Ave., Girard (Liberty), Ohio 44420. Friends may call at the church for one hour prior to the service.  A luncheon will follow the service.
