Glenna J. Mitchell

SOUTHINGTON – Glenna J. Mitchell, age 86, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.  She was born March 1, 1934 in Philippi, W. Va., the daughter of Teno and Allie (Alltop) Trunick, and had lived in Ohio since the early 1970s.

A devoted homemaker, Glenna enjoyed walking, knitting, Gospel music festivals, and was a friend in need to so many.

She is sadly missed by her two grandsons, Justin Yeager of San Antonio, Texas and Daniel Tustin of Braceville; three great-grandchildren: Ethan, Victoria, and Keira Yeager; and other family and friends who thought the world of her.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Teno and Allie Trunick; her loving husband, Glen E. Mitchell, whom passed August 1, 2020; her daughter, Marica Tustin, who passed March 19, 2019; one sister, Jo Ann Johns; and three brothers: Bill, Robert, and Dickie Trunick.

Services are 11:00 am Friday, October 23, 2020 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pine Knoll Cemetery.  Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home.
