Glen Elwood Mitchell

SOUTHINGTON – Glen Elwood Mitchell, age 80, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Cortland Health Care.  He was born May 16, 1940 in Philippi, W. Va., the son of Elbern and Golda (Bolyard) Mitchell.

Glen retired from C.J. Rogers Transportation Co. after thirty years as a truck driver.  He enjoyed gardens and lawn care.

Precious memories of Glen live on with his loving wife, Glenna Jean (Trunick) Mitchell; one grandson, Justin Yeager of Texas; three great-grandchildren: Ethan, Victoria, and Keira Yeager; two sisters, Carolyn Hovatter and Willadene Pisino, both of West Virginia; and one nephew, David Mitchell.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Elbern and Golda Mitchell, and his daughter, Marcia Tustin, who passed March 19, 2019.

Services are 11:00 am Friday, August 21, 2020 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pine Knoll Cemetery.  Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday, August 21 at the funeral home.
