CORTLAND – Gary L. King, age 63, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Hospice House in Poland , OH with his family at his side fighting the long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on April 23, 1957 in Warren, OH to Douglas King and Marjorie (Phillips) King. He was a 1975 graduate of Matthews High School. He was an avid fisherman and loved to go with his grandson Arthur. He was married on June 5, 1993. He also loved spending time with family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents; Douglas and Marjorie, his loving wife; Janet King, his children; Joshua Appleman “Anthony” of Akron,,  Steve Ruiter “Anna” of Columbus,, Kenny Ruiter “Beth” of  Cortland,, Keri King Jewell “Mark” of FLA., , Kelly Ruiter “BJ” of Johnston, OH.,, his siblings; Roy King, Marlin King and his grandchildren; Dylan, Gage, McKenzie, Steven, Jr., Autumn, and Arthur.  A special thanks to Bethany Ruiter and Hospice of The Valley all their efforts.   

Per his request, a caring cremation is taking place. No services to be held.
