Evelyn Sheldon

Lordstown-Evelyn Sheldon, age 92, passed away on April 19, 2022 at her son’s home in Columbus. She was born October 3, 1929 to Gladys and Paul Bonsall in Berlin Center, Ohio. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and bell collecting. She was a Member of the New Covenant Baptist Church of Lordstown, OH. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; Paul and Gladys Bonsall, her husband; Carl Sheldon, her son; Charles Sheldon, her nephew; James Johnson and her siblings; Donald Bonsall, Cecil Bonsall, Eileen Corbin, and Doris Irwin. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons; Allan Sheldon (Pat) of Columbus, Edward Sheldon (Cindy) of Warren, her siblings; Esther Hanson (Marvin) of Indiana and Martha Keller of Farmdale, her nephews: Michael Johnson (Helen) of Columbus and Ronald Johnson (Rose) of Lordstown, as well as 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on April 24, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. and a service will be taking place at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home on April 25, 2022, at 11 a.m. friends may call one hour prior to the service.
