Warren – Eleanor “Lenee” Ann Del Vecchio, 90, passed away on May 15, 2023, at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, OH. Eleanor was born on February 21, 1933, in Weegee, OH to parents Ben and Stella Kendjorsky Maskivish.
Lenee graduated from Shadyside High School in 1950. She was a model and in 1953 was crowned Miss Bellaire, Miss Westinghouse and Miss Ohio. She was the owner of three “Lenee Wigs” stores in Trumbull County for 14 years. She worked for AETNA Insurance in Pittsburgh PA, a secretary at Merchants Association and a volunteer at Warren General Hospital. Lenee was a trophy bowler and an artist, showing her artwork from 1980 to 1995.
She is survived by her son, Gary Lee (Linda) Del Vecchio, brother, Joseph (Beth) Maskivish, sisters, Josephine Windland, Patricia (Bob) Russell, Henrietta (Mike) Mellott, Christine (Jim) Littleton; grandchildren, Kristian (Beth) Del Vecchio, and Nicole (Ivan) Meszaros and six great grandchildren, Kamryn, Logan, Tristian, Myia, Grayson and Keely.
Besides her parents Lenee was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Del Vecchio, whom she married on November 28, 1953, two brothers, Raymond and Bernard Maskivish, and a sister Bernice Kemmerle.
Calling hours will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren, Ohio. A prayer service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Committal will take place following the service at Pineview Memorial Park.
