Earl Jones

Earl Jones, 80, of Warren, died Monday, August 3. 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on January 23, 1940 in Aleppo, Pennsylvania the son of the late Clyde and Jane Jones and graduated from West Greene High School.

Earl started working at Republic Steel and retired from Warren Consolidated after 40 years of service.

He was a 32nd degree mason and was a member of the Carroll Clapp Lodge in Youngstown.

Earl enjoyed being outdoors especially fishing which led his passion for running with his son, Earl Jr., the Pilgrim Charters out of Ashtabula Harbor for more than 20 years.

Fond memories of Earl will forever be remembered by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth “Nell” Jones, sons Kevin (Marla) Jones of Howland, Mark (Susan) Jones of Niles, Christopher (Jennifer) Jones of Warren; daughter Anna Thompson of Warren; daughter-in-law Janet Jones of Newton Falls, ten grandchildren; three great grandsons and sister Virginia Rush of Claysville, PA.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Earl Jones Jr. and two brothers Gene and Keith Jones.

In keeping with his wishes a caring cremation will take place and a celebration of his life with take place at a later date.
