Dorothy Margaret Seibert, 88, of Warren, passed away at 3:40 am Friday, May 8, 2020 in the Intensive Care Unit at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 13, 1931 in Massillon, Ohio the daughter of the late Matthew and Susan Sirotock Chovan and came to Warren from Sharon, Pennsylvania where she lived for more than 30 years.
Dorothy was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1949 and was a retail store manager for Vietnam World for 16 years retiring in 1997.
She was a former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hermitage and was currently a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Warren.
Fond memories will forever be remembered by her husband Roy D. Seibert, whom she married on March 7, 1997; a son Dr. Stephen (Marybeth) Uhlman of Butler, Pennsylvania; a daughter Dory Sue (Bill) Marquette of Harrisburg; a sister Eleanore “Honey” Grunden of Massillon and by two grandchildren Kyle and Dustin Uhlman.
Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband Fred Uhlman and by two brothers and three sisters.
In keeping with the order of the Governor during the COVID 19 Pandemic Crisis in our country, there will be no public calling hours observed. A Parlor Service will be conducted privately for the family on Saturday, May 16, 2020 with Pastor Ann Marie Winters, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, officiating.
Burial will take place in Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery on Morefield Road in Hermitage.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Dorothy’s name to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 2860 E. Market St., Warren, Ohio 44483
