Dorothea (Williams) Lundy

Dorothea J. Lundy, 74, of Liberty, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 8:15 a.m. in the comfort of the home she shared with her sister and her family.

She was born on Monday, October 7, 1946 in Warren the daughter of the late Charles E. and Eunice Perry Williams and was a lifelong area resident.

Dorothea was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School Class of 1965. 

She worked as an assembler at Packard Electric retiring after 23 years of service.

Dorothea was a member of Jesus is The Way Ministries in Girard and enjoyed watching TV, doing word search puzzles; loved to travel; listening to music and spending time with her family.

Fond memories of Dorothea will forever be remembered by her children Yolanda E. (Shawn) Peterson of Verona, PA; Luther D. (Latasha) Shaver of Shelby, North Carolina and Teresa C. Shaver of Ladson, South Carolina; her sister Jocelyn (Vincent) Ingram with whom she made her home in Liberty; and sister Kathy J. (Samuel) Lee of North Bloomfield, Ohio and three grandchildren Cole E. Peterson, Aisha P. Peterson and Chuckia Culp.  She also leaves to mourn three nephews Christopher Ingram, Christian Ingram and Cameron Ingram.

Besides her parents, Dorothea was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lundy and by an infant daughter Donna C. Shaver and a brother Charles E. Williams.

Family will receive friends on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Barbara Dorbachin officiating.
