SHARON, PA – Doris M. Tompkins, age 79, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Nugent Convalescent Home in Hermitage. She was born April 19, 1944 in Farrell, the daughter of Arthur Clark Gaines and Lucille Gaines.

Doris enjoyed gardening and sitting by the fire while camping.

Fond memories of Doris live on with her beloved husband of fifty-eight years, Robert J. Tompkins, Sr.; two sons, Robert J. Tompkins, Jr. of Glendale, Ariz. and Arthur E. Tompkins of Sharon; and her granddaughter, Natalie Tompkins.

Preceding her in death are her parents and her sister, Joanne Darich.

According to her wishes, cremation is taking place. No services are scheduled at this time.
