HOWLAND – David J. Sinea, age 63, life-long area resident, entered into the arms of his Savior on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital – in the midst of several health concerns, but succumbing to COVID. He was born July 20, 1957 in Warren, the son of Dan and Florence (Yova) Sinea.
A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, David had worked for Denman Tire. He was a member of North Park Avenue Baptist Church since childhood, and that is where he met his loving wife, Sue.
David loved music, playing the guitar, good food, hot peppers, nature, and his many pets. When younger, he and Sue loved to go hiking – especially in Cook’s Forest – and vacationing in Cancun. David was known and beloved for his great sense of humor, amusing way with words, his sensitivity, and his generosity. Family and friends will always remember his twinkling blue eyes, his smile, and gentle demeanor.
Precious memories of David live on with his devoted wife of over forty years, Susan (Cook) Sinea, whom he married October 17, 1980; two sisters, Deborah Zavodney (Lawrence) of Cedarville, Ohio and Diana Sinea of Bay Village; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who adored him.
Private memorial services will be held for David at a later date this year at Koinonia Camp in Geneva, Ohio – a place close to his heart since youth. In lieu of flowers, you can contribute in his name to Koinonia Camp, 6810 Cork Cold Springs Road, Geneva, Ohio 44041.
