Darrell "D" Dilla Obituary

Darrell “D” Lee Dilla, 57, of Liberty, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 1:00 a.m. in the comfort of his own home.

Darrell was born on October 18, 1962 in Youngstown the son of the late Ben L. and Joyce Y Sullivan Dilla and was a lifelong area resident.

He worked for Niles Iron and Metal and enjoyed motorcycles and having or attending a good barbecue.

Fond memories of Darrell will forever be remembered by his wife of 14 years the former Dianna J. Evers whom he married on October 8, 2005; a step daughter Sabrina Evers of Alliance; a brother David (Yvette) Dilla of Youngstown; a sister Donna (Ed) Dilla of Youngstown; two nephews David and Dominic Dilla of Youngstown and by a great nephew Sean Dilla of Florida.

Besides his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Dilla and a nephew Sean Dilla.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service and a caring cremation will take place under the director of the Evergreen Cremation Service - Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren.

As a sign of condolence and remembrance of Darrell the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations to Second Harvest Food Bank.
