Daniel Stokes Obituary
Daniel L. Stokes, 74, of Warren, passed away peacefully Friday, March 1, 2019 at Community Skilled Health Care Centre. He was born January 4, 1945 in Charleston, W.Va., the son of James Stokes and Chestner Copning.
Daniel had worked in construction through Local 935, and later worked for Meals on Wheels. He was very fond of fishing and motorcycle riding.
He is sadly missed by his mother of West Virginia; his loving wife, Anne Henderson of Warren; four sons: Daniel Stokes of Akron, Kevin Stokes of Niles, Derick Stokes of Warren, and Milton Henderson of Warren; two daughters, Zaneta Stokes-Jackson of Atlanta and Candace Stokes of Warren; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Darla Turner of Warren and Nancy Anderson of West Virginia; and a brother, James Stokes of Warren.
His father and a sister, Charlotte Kirksey, precede him in death.
