Constance Ann Noonan, 87, of Harleysville, PA, formerly of Warren, OH, died on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Connie was born June 7, 1934, in Detroit, MI, to the late William and Mary Constance (Lubert) Sweet. At a young age, she moved to Warren, where she was raised by her aunt and uncle, Stella and Charles Quinn.
Connie married Paul E. Noonan on March 31,1967, in Warren. Paul died in 1990. She was also preceded in death by brothers F. William Sweet, Albert Sweet, Michael Sweet, Robert Bollas, James Bollas, Charles Quinn and a sister, Mary Sweet. Connie is survived by a daughter, Megan (James) Martinko of Schwenksville, PA; a son, Paul Noonan of Wayne, PA; three grandchildren, William, Bennett and Maura; two brothers, James Sweet and Jerry Sweet of Warren, OH; and three sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Sweet and Kathy Sweet of Warren, OH, and Judy Sweet of Cincinnati, OH.
Connie was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Youngstown, OH. She was a pediatric nurse and worked at her husband’s practice before dedicating herself to raising her family. She later moved to Pennsylvania to be near her grandchildren. She was an active member of her apartment community including serving as treasurer as well as working in their library. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Schwenksville, PA, where she volunteered, also in the library, and took part in many prayer groups. She fiercely loved her children and grandchildren. She had a lifelong love of travel and, in recent years, enjoyed vacations at the shore.
On Wednesday, June 1, those wishing to say farewell to Connie and celebrate her life can attend calling hours from 9-10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Warren, followed by a mass at 10 a.m.
