Charles “Chuck” Williams, 72, of Warren, Ohio, peacefully passed away on May 18, 2023. Chuck was born to the late William and Doris Smith Williams on December 9, 1950. He was a 1969 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He was employed as Vice President and Co-owner of G.N. Williams Trucking Company until 1985. Following his graduation from Kent State University in 1989, he began a new career with Technico Inc. where he worked for 26 years until his retirement in 2015.
Nothing brought Chuck more joy than spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He loved coaching and watching his daughters play sports. He enjoyed many years working with the Howland Athletic Club as a coach and manager of the girls’ softball teams, and much of his life was happily spent watching his daughters on the basketball court or soccer field. Chuck also enjoyed helping friends solve big and small problems with their computer. He loved building Legos and playing games with his grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by his three daughters, Amie (Brady) Duncan of Cincinnati, Alexa (Andrew) Guman of Allentown, PA, and Taylor (Sam) Huffman of Columbus and his nine grandchildren: Crosby, Clementine, and Casper Duncan; Clara, Raymond, Marie, Phoebe, and Matthew Guman; and Lawrence Huffman. He will also be missed by his twin sister Cynthia Williams.
In lieu of calling hours, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
If you wish to honor Chuck’s life, the family requests a donation be made in his name to the Howland Athletic Club at 9131 Chalfonte Drive, Warren, OH 44484 or info@howlandac.com.
